Some discerning 1940’s aficionados from Secret Vintage Fair visited Sophie T’s recently and were kind enough to write a review about us.

The gratitude of every home in our Island, in our Empire, and indeed throughout the world, except in the abodes of the guilty, goes out to the British airmen who, undaunted by odds, unwearied in their constant challenge and mortal danger, are turning the tide of the World War by their prowess and by their devotion. Just to let you all know that Sophie T’s will be closing early at 2.00pm on Saturday 15th August to accommodate a private function. Last orders will be at 12.30 and we have 2 tables left for this time. Breakfasts will be available as usual up until 12.00.

Selection of sandwiches
Scones (1 fruit and 1 plain) clotted cream and jam
Selection of cakes (Strawberry and Cream mini Victoria, Chocolate Brownie and a Macaroon)
Our resident pianist will be tinkling the ivories and he may even play Mum’s favourite tunes if requested!
There will also be a special memento from Sophie T’s for every Mum!
To secure your table we are taking non refundable deposits of £5 per head payable at the shop by 7th March.
